Now it’s time to try things out in a practice session. In this practice, you will do some math, work with column titles, use Excel to fill in a series for you, and freeze columns and rows. And for something new, try out a math shortcut.

When you click Practice in Excel, a practice spreadsheet will download to your computer and open in Excel 2010, and a separate window with practice instructions will appear.

Important      

  • If the practice instructions disappear as you type in Excel, press the F1 key on your keyboard. Then click Practice in Excel on this page again.
  • You need to have Excel 2010 installed on your computer.
