By default, files sent to you are placed in the C:\Documents and Settings\<your Windows user name>\My Documents\My Received Files folder. You can change the location where your received files are saved.
To change the location of received files
- In the Microsoft Office Communicator window, on the Actions menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab, and then under File transfer, click Browse.
- In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select the folder where you want to store received files.
