To configure remote call control
Using Active Directory Users and Computers

Start Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Go to the folder where your users reside.
- Expand the Users folder or the folder where your users reside.
- Right-click the user for whom you want to configure remote call control, and then click Properties.
- On the Live Communications tab, click Advanced Settings.
- On the User Advanced Settings dialog, click the Enable Remote Call Control check box.
- Specify the user's SIP URI or telephone URI. For information on these settings, click Help.
- If you specified a SIP URI for the user, specify the SIP URI for the telephony gateway to which the user's calls will be routed.
- Click OK twice.
Using the Live Communications Server administrative snap-in

Start Live Communications Server administrative snap-in.
- Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Live Communications Server 2005.
- In the console tree, expand the forest node.
- Expand subsequent nodes under the Domains node until you reach the domain that the server or pool resides in.
- Expand the Live Communications servers and pools node.
- Expand the server or pool.
- Click the Users folder.
- Right-click the user for whom you want to configure remote call control, and then click Properties.
- On the Live Communications tab, click Advanced Settings.
- On the User Advanced Settings dialog, click the Enable Remote Call Control check box.
- Specify the user's SIP URI or telephone URI. For information on these settings, click Help.
- If you specified a SIP URI for the user, specify the SIP URI for the telephony gateway to which the user's calls will be routed.
- Click OK twice.
Note To perform this task, you must be a member of the RTCDomainUserAdmins group.
