About reminders
 
Items marked with an asterisk (*) are available in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008 only.

On the Company home page, the Reminders pane lists active reminders that you have set. You can view active reminders and add or remove reminders.

 Note   Some reminders are removed automatically when they do not apply. For example, the Inventory Reorder Point reminder only appears when the quantity on hand plus the quantity on purchase orders for one or more items meets the shortage criteria.

ReminderDescription
*Back OrdersIndicates one or more sales orders for goods or services that are not available or will not be delivered immediately.
Bills to PayDisplays one or more unpaid vendor bills that are at or past their due dates.
Checks to PrintDisplays one or more checks marked To be printed that have not yet been printed.
Expired QuotesDisplays one or more quotes that have passed their expiration dates.
*Inventory to ReorderDisplays the shortage and quantity to order for all inventory items whose quantity on hand plus quantity on purchase orders is equal to or below the reorder point, or is less than the quantity of the item on all open sales orders.
Documents to ProcessDisplays one or more recurring documents that are due to be recorded.
Money to DepositIndicates that a payment has been received that you have not yet deposited in an account.
Overdue InvoicesDisplays one or more unpaid invoices that are past their due dates.
*Sales Orders Ready for InvoicingDisplays one or more sales orders that have not been fully invoiced.
Online Accountant TransferIndicates that one or more accountant transfers are pending. Use your Windows Live ID to sign in to Windows Live ID sites and services to activate the transfers.
Pending Online OrdersIndicates that there are one or more online orders that have not yet been converted to sales receipts.
Sign Up for PayrollIf you have an active Internet connection, click the Sign up for payroll now link to access a Web page with enrollment information for a variety of simple and affordable plans from Payroll for Microsoft Office Accounting.
