The Company home page provides a snapshot of your company's overall financial condition, as well as your day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable information. Use the home page to quickly view, create, or find the information you need to track your company's financial information on a daily basis. Using the Company home pageThe Company home page is comprised of the following parts: Home page content The two columns of the content pane provide you with customized access to the reports, reminders, and other information you need to help manage your company's finances on a daily basis. You can change what content appears and the order it appears in. How?
- On the Company home page, click Add/Remove Content.
- Follow the instructions in the Add/Remove Content dialog box.

| Profitability | Displays a graph illustrating the Profit and Loss report for your company for a selected date range.
To change the time period, in the Date Range field, click the down arrow and select from the list.
To view the Profit and Loss report for the same period selected, click View the Profit and Loss report, which calculates the net income for your business from Income and Expense accounts listed in the Chart of Accounts. | | Reminders | Displays a list of current reminders. To change which reminders appear, click Add/Remove. | | Cash Flow | Displays a graph illustrating the Cash Flow Statement report for your company.
To change the time period, in the Date Range field, click the down arrow and select from the list.
To view the Cash Flow Statement report for the same period selected, click View Cash Flow Report, or, for the forecast, click Forecast Cash Flow. The Cash Flow Statement report quantifies cash receipts and payments under operating, investing, or financing activities during a specified period.
| | Bank Account Summary |
Displays a list of all your bank accounts, with transaction details, including account balances.
Click Import Bank File to import bank transactions into Microsoft Office Accounting 2008. Click Download Transactions to download online bank transactions for supported financial institutions. | | Reports | Provides quick access to Office Accounting 2008 reports, including Company and Financial reports.
Select from the lists, and then click Display to view the report, or Print to print the report. On the report toolbar, you can choose to save, modify, print, or export the report to Microsoft Office Excel. | | Vendors to Pay Today | Displays a list of vendors with an outstanding balance due.
To view an A/P Aging Summary report, click View list of all Accounts Payable by date due. | | Overdue Customer Accounts | Displays a list of customers with invoiced amounts that are past due.
To view an A/R Aging Summary report, click View list of all Overdue Accounts by date due. | | Account Balances | Displays a list of accounts and their current account balances. To change which accounts appear, click Add/Remove. |

Navigation buttons Click the Company, Customers, Vendors, Employees, Banking, Online Sales (if enabled), Reports, and Resource Center buttons to quickly navigate to the corresponding home pages within Accounting 2008.
