If you want to remove a company from Microsoft Office Accounting 2008, you must delete both the database and the associated company file.

- Log on to Windows as the Administrator who installed and set up the software.
- In Windows Explorer, open the folder where the company file is stored. By default, the company files are stored in the following location:
- Windows Vista drive:\Users\user\Documents\Small Business Accounting\Companies
- Windows XP drive:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\Small Business Accounting\Companies
- Right-click the company file that you want to delete, and click Delete.
- To confirm, click Yes.
