Access 2007 has been updated with a fresh look so that you can easily create, modify, and work with database solutions. You can also use the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface, tabbed windows view, status bar, scroll bars, and title bar to give applications built on Access 2007 a contemporary look. New features such as the Add New Field column and improved selection capabilities make the experience similar to that of Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
The Office Fluent user interface, which replaces the old Access menus, toolbars, and most task panes, is context sensitive and optimized for efficiency and discoverability. With the new Navigation Pane in Access 2007, you get a comprehensive view of tables, forms, queries, and reports. You can even create custom groups to organize and see all the forms and reports related to a single table.
