Access does not provide built-in support for bar codes. A number of third-party bar code add-ins and devices are available for Access.

 Note   A Microsoft ActiveX® bar code control (Msbcode.ocx) is available, but only for the Asian versions of Access.

If you have Microsoft Word installed, you might consider using Word to work with bar codes. See the following topics in Word Help for more information:

• Add fields to a form letter or other mail-merge document
