You can use Outlook Web App to access your Office 365 for business or other Microsoft Exchange-based email account via a web browser. The web address you’ll use to sign in to Outlook Web App depends on the type of account you have.
Note Outlook Web App is the web browser version of Outlook that is used by businesses and organizations. Outlook Web App can only be used to access Office 365 for business and other accounts that are hosted on a server that's running Microsoft Exchange Server 2013. Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail) is a modern email service that provides free email for personal use. You don’t sign in to an Outlook.com account using Outlook Web App. For information about how to access your existing Outlook.com account or sign up for a new Outlook.com account, go to Outlook.com.
