- If the Styles and Formatting task pane (task pane: A window within an Office program that provides commonly used commands. Its location and small size allow you to use these commands while still working on your files.) is not open, click Styles and Formatting
on the Formatting toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.).
- Right-click the style you want to modify, and then click Modify.
- Select any options you want.
- To see more options, click Format, and then click the attribute — such as Font or Numbering — you want to change.
Click OK after you've changed each attribute, and then repeat for any additional attributes you want to change.
