HTML Tables III: Design a page with layout tables

Image being dragged into a layout cell

One easy way to fill layout cells with images is to drag them.

After you've drawn your layout tables and cells, you'll naturally want to fill them with content.

There are a variety of ways you can do that. You can type text, use the various options on the Insert menu, or you can drag and drop images, as this illustration shows.

You'll also want to format your layout table and cells with background colors, padding, borders, etc. We'll cover this in the next course: HTML Tables IV: Format and touch up a page layout.
