Reviewing toolbar

Items marked with a check mark on the Show menu are displayed in the document; items without a check mark are hidden. On the Show menu, point to Reviewers, and then click All Reviewers to make sure you're seeing everyone's changes.

When the Track Changes feature is turned on, Word stores the insertions, deletions, and formatting changes you and other reviewers make to the document.

Before you send your document to others, be sure you check it to confirm that it doesn't contain changes you didn't realize were still there.

Use the Reviewing toolbar to make sure all types of tracked changes by all reviewers are visible in your document. To open the Reviewing toolbar, on the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Reviewing.

Note     The options on the Show menu, on the Reviewing toolbar, determine only whether or not the changes are visible in your document. You must explicitly accept or delete tracked changes and comments to get rid of them altogether.

To get rid of tracked changes and comments, accept or reject the changes and delete the comments. On the Reviewing toolbar, click the Next and Previous buttons to navigate the revisions in your document. Then use the Accept Change or Reject Change/Delete Comment for each revision or comment.
