Scan and insert an image in Clip Organizer

You can scan images and store them in Microsoft Clip Organizer.

  1. With your scanner ready and the image on the scanner glass, in Clip Organizer, on the File menu, point to Add Clips to Organizer, and then click From Scanner or Camera.
  2. In the Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera dialog box, under Device, select the scanner.
  3. Click Insert.

The new clip appears in the My Collections folder, in a folder named after your scanner.

Note   You can limit the amount of space your scanned images take up by scanning images at 95 dpi (dots per inch), a low-resolution setting that is appropriate for pictures you'll use on a monitor.
