Change page breaks before printing a Visio diagram

To see gray lines that show how the pages will tile when you print, click Page Breaks. The thickness of the gray lines indicates the overlap between pages.

To see where page breaks fall in a large drawing

  • On the View menu, click Page Breaks.

To increase the overlap between pages

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.

  2. On the Print Setup tab, click Setup.
  3. Increase the margin settings, and then click OK twice.

To control the number of pages the drawing prints on

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
  2. On the Print Setup tab, under Print zoom, click Fit to, and then specify the number of pages across and down.
