Regardless of the type of envelope you use, the address lines up the same way.
You've now designed a truly stunning envelope. It's time to think about printing it. First of all, you need to tell Word exactly what size it is. You also use the Envelope Options dialog box to select the envelope size.
Note If the size you want is not listed, don't worry. You can create a custom envelope size of your own dimensions. You'll do this in the practice.
Now we come to the fun part: What orientation is your envelope? Envelopes come in all sorts of layouts: flaps on the long side or short side, flaps that are triangular or square, flaps that gum or self seal.
All you need worry about is on which face of the envelope the address is to be printed and which way up. Do not get distracted by any other details.
