The Windows Address Book that you use with Outlook Express is different from the Address Book that's used in Outlook.
The Microsoft Windows Address Book is one address book that can't be used directly from Outlook. The Windows Address Book (WAB) is the address book used by Microsoft Outlook Express. Outlook and Outlook Express are two different programs.
If you store contacts in Outlook Express and you want to be able to access them from Outlook, you’ll need to export them from Outlook Express and then import them into an Outlook Contacts list. We've included a link to instructions on how to do this in the Quick Reference Card at the end of this course.
