Using the Quick Tag Editor to edit a single tag.
The Quick Tag Editor lets you quickly edit a single tag without seeing the nearby tags. It's great for making quick changes to one tag.
This illustration shows the Quick Tag Editor. This is how you use it:
First you make your changes to the tag here by adding, editing, or removing attributes, values, etc. Note that you don't need to worry about typing the closing tag. FrontPage will make sure it's there for you.
Then you press the Enter
button (the green check mark) when you are done. FrontPage will give a warning if you enter invalid HTML (for example, if you leave out a space or type the incorrect syntax).
Your edits will be added to the HTML code.
Note If you don't want to apply your changes, you can always click the Cancel button .
Tip The Quick Tag Editor can do more than just edit an existing tag. It can also insert a tag, and it can even wrap one tag around another. We'll show you how in the practice session that's coming up.
