Because the practice requires that you work with a partner, it's now time to find that person. You'll need to practice together at the same time. In the last practice you were both the boss. Now you'll each be the delegate to the other's boss.

If you didn't do the practice exercises for the previous lesson, you'll need to share your own calendar and then open your practice partner's calendar, using the commands on the Navigation Pane for the Calendar. If you're not sure how to do that, do the practice for the previous lesson, and then continue on to this one.

If you have private appointments in your calendar, you may want to move these to a subfolder in your calendar before you get started.

About the practice session

When you click Practice in Outlook, Outlook will open and a separate window with practice instructions will appear.

Note     You need to have Outlook 2007 installed on your computer.

Before you begin

Make sure to close Outlook if it is already running.
