Suppose you're the Adventure Works program coordinator, and you want to send e-mail to all your customers who participated in the wine tasting event last year. Can you guess how to do that? You'd start with Current Views in the Navigation Pane.
Once you display a group of contacts in Outlook, it's easy to send that group an e-mail message. Just select the group, go to the Actions menu, and click the New Message to Contact command. It's just as easy to set up a meeting or appointment. On the Actions menu, use New Meeting Request to Contact or New Appointment with Contact.
You see the pattern: However contacts are grouped, a single action works for all of them. How to save time by organization is a matter of preference, so it's your choice.
You can also set up a meeting or appointment with a group of contacts. The practice session shows you how.
