Watch this: Give a user access to a SharePoint site

March 31, 2008

Brian Granowitz

See how easy it is to give a user access to an Office SharePoint Server 2007 site

As a site owner, one of the most common and important tasks that you perform is managing who can access your site and what actions they can perform there. This is referred to as assigning permissions.

In this demo, I show how a site owner adds someone to the Members group, which by default has permission to browse the site and add, edit, or delete items and files on the site.
