You can set the formats of an existing text box as the
default (default: A predefined setting. You can accept the default option settings, or you can change them to suit your own preferences.) for new text boxes in the current publication. The formats and settings that will be applied to new text boxes include fill color, line weight and color, text wrapping options, text box margins, alignment, and column settings. BorderArt cannot be applied as a default for new text boxes.
Note The formats you set in an existing text box in a publication apply only to other text boxes you create in that same publication.
- Right-click the text box that has the
formats you want to use as the
default.
- On the shortcut menu, click
Format Text Box, and then click the Colors and Lines tab.
- Select the
Apply settings to new text boxes check
box.
- Click OK.
