Preview narration, music, or sound in a presentation
 

Do one of the following:

  • In normal view, on the slide, double-click the sound icon Icon image or CD icon Icon image.
  • In normal view, display the slide, and click Slide Show Button image in the lower left of the Microsoft PowerPoint window. If you set up the sound or music to play on a mouse click, you'll have to click the sound icon Icon image or CD icon Icon image to play it.

Note  If you are previewing a CD audio track, you need to insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive to preview it.
