Broadcast live PowerPoint presentations

Your project team may be scattered across the country or even the world. Subcontractors and vendors, too, are often located all over the map. Managing a virtual team has certain logistical challenges — for example, getting everyone in the same room for a meeting or presentation.

While conference calls let everyone hear what's going on, what happens if there's a Microsoft PowerPoint® presentation on the agenda? Team members on the phone are at a disadvantage. Even if they have a printed copy in advance, keeping up on the phone without the real visual can be hard.

Keep all your team members on the same page

With PowerPoint 2002 or later, you can broadcast your PowerPoint presentations live. Every team member can visually walk through the presentation with you as you go into detail about the specifics of the overall project plan, present key project status presentations, or discuss the results of a project postmortem.

When you want to hold a team presentation with participants at different sites, plan to broadcast the presentation. You can include live video along with your audio. You can also record and save the presentation for future viewing on demand.
