Add, delete, or rearrange scorecard rows and columns

In PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer, you can add, delete, or rearrange (transpose) rows and columns in a scorecard.

Note   Before you modify rows or columns in a scorecard, you should update the scorecard to make sure that you have the most recent data.

What do you want to do?

Add rows or columns to a scorecard

  1. In the Workspace Browser, click Scorecards.
  2. On the Server or Workspace tab, double-click the scorecard that you want to change.
  3. From the tree in the Details pane, locate the item that you want to use as a row or column header. To add the item as a row or column header, drag it to the scorecard.

Show  Special notes about rows or columns for aggregation

The cell values that Dashboard Designer uses to calculate aggregation depend on whether the aggregation item is a row header or a column header.

To add an aggregation row or column to the scorecard, select the item in the Aggregation node of the Details pane that you want to use as the aggregation header.

    • Aggregation item is a column header   When you add an aggregation item as a scorecard column header, Dashboard Designer includes the metrics adjacent to the aggregation item. Dashboard Designer calculates each metric independently, and adds the metric as a separate column under the aggregation header.
    • Aggregation item is a row header   When you add an aggregation item as a scorecard row header, Dashboard Designer aggregates all rows that appear above the item in the scorecard.

Note   When you position the pointer on an item that is valid to use as a row header or column header, Dashboard Designer highlights the item. If the item is not valid for use as a header, no highlight appears.
