Demo: Work with e-mail signatures, plain or fancy

Office demo

Do you hate typing your name and contact information at the end of every e-mail message? You have better things to do with your time, right? In Outlook 2003, it’s simple to create a signature that’s automatically added to your messages.

Create a plain signature

You can create a signature and include information such as your title and company name. Select the font, color, size and style, and specify the results as your default signature. That's it! Each time you start a new message your signature is already there to end it.

Image is important, even in a signature. Add a photo or make use of all the formatting capabilities of Word to create a signature that leaves a lasting impression.

Note   If Word does not open as the advanced editor, you can change your default settings.

If you don't want to sign messages to your friends in the same way you sign messages to your business associates, you can create multiple signatures and switch between them easily and quickly.
