Secure your Outlook dial-up connection

Applies to
Microsoft Outlook® 98 and 2000

When you run Outlook from a remote location, you have the option to save your password with your connection information. This is convenient and prevents you from having to type in the password each time, but it's not recommended unless your computer is secure at all times. Otherwise, anyone with access to your computer can use your dial-up connection to connect to the network.
