The Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 navigation pane identifies the notebooks that are open.

The new navigation pane in OneNote 2007 shows you which notebooks are open. By clicking on a notebook icon, you can easily move between open notebooks. Across the top of the OneNote 2007 workspace you'll still see the familiar tabs associated with notebook sections.

By clicking the arrow at the top of the navigation pane, you can expand the view, which shows more detail about the notebooks and their embedded sections. To open a section in your notebook, click on its corresponding tab. This new functionality makes navigating across multiple notebooks and sections much easier.
