It's time to take some notes yourself. Pretend you're a student in a lecture on the solar system.
You'll explore the layout of OneNote and will take some notes, and if you have a Tablet PC or graphics tablet you can also try making a sketch. If you don't have a Tablet PC, you can try using your mouse to draw, but the results will not be as good.
About the practice session
When you click Practice in OneNote, OneNote will open and a separate window with practice instructions will appear alongside (see picture).
Note You need to have OneNote 2003 installed on your computer.
- If the practice instructions aren't visible, or disappear when you click in OneNote, click the OneNote Help taskbar button and then click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.
- If the practice instructions cover up OneNote, click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.
Before you begin
Make sure to close OneNote if it is already running.
