Troubleshoot sign-in to Office 365

Office 365 comes with service health and troubleshooting tools for users and admins.

If you’re having trouble signing in to Office 365

If you can’t sign in to the Office 365 portal (https://login.microsoftonline.com), you may be able to sign in to the individual services directly. Bookmark any of these URLs in your web browser for quick access to the services you use most frequently.

  • Sign in and ask a question in the Office 365 Community.
  • Contact your Office 365 admin. They may be able to help.

Check status

  • If the Service health page is unavailable, sign in to the Emergency Broadcast System to view service status. You’ll need to sign in with your Office 365 user ID.

Ask for help

  • Sign in and ask questions in the Office 365 Community.
  • If the Office 365 Portal (https://portal.microsoftonline.com/admin) is available, submit a service request:
  • Office 365 Small Business: In the Office 365 Portal, go to Admin > Support > Service requests, and submit a service request.
  • Office 365 Enterprise and Office 365 Midsize Business: In the Office 365 Portal, go to Admin > Office 365 > Support > Service requests, and submit a service request.
