Let's set an indent
"Indent" is a command that lets you indent the first line and change the width between the left margin of the paper and the position where the text is displayed.
By setting the indent, you can move the starting position of the text to the right.

Let's change the text's starting position and change the look of the letter.
As an example, set indents for the "Reunion Announcement" details in the letter you created previously.
- Click the first row of the details.

- Click the
button (Increase Indent button) in Paragraph on the Home tab.

- The indent is set, and the beginning of the sentence is indented.

- Each time you click the
(Increase Indent button) the indent increases by one level. Let's click it a few times.

|
|
Tip: How can I undo the indent?
 |
To undo the indent you set, click the indented line, and then click the (Decrease Indent button) in Paragraph on the Home tab.
With each click, the indent decreases by one level.
|
|
- Let's select the text from the second line to the fifth line of the details and set the indent. Click the beginning of the second line, and drag the mouse downward while holding down the left button of the mouse. When you have selected the fifth line, release the mouse button.
