
In Excel, it is easy to preview what the layout will look like when printed without actually printing.
The print image displayed on the screen is called the "Print Preview". You can display the Print Preview even if your printer is not connected to your computer.
Reading this article, you will learn how to show the Print Preview and how to use it. This article consists of the following two pages.

Let's display the Print Preview
- Click the
(Office Button), point to Print, and then click Print Preview.

- A print preview of the worksheet is displayed.

Tip: For a multi-page worksheet
 |
When there are multiple pages in a worksheet, you can click Next Page in Preview on the Print Preview tab to display the next page of the print preview.
You can also click Previous Page on this tab to display the previous page.

Let's zoom in on the Print Preview using the Ribbon
The Print Preview is displayed first with the one page displayed in the entire window.
You can zoom in on the display and check the page at the 100% zoom setting.
Using Zoom in the Ribbon, let's zoom in on the display.
- [Click Zoom in Zoom on the Print Preview tab.

- The zoom setting changes to 100%.

- [Click Zoom in Zoom on the Print Preview tab.

- The Print Preview display returns to the original zoom setting.

You can click Print Preview and zoom in on the display.
- Place the cursor over the worksheet in Print Preview.
- Confirm that the cursor shape has changed to
, and then click on the print preview.

- The Print Preview display is magnified, and the cursor shape changes to

, and then click on the print preview.
- The Print Preview display returns to the original zoom setting.
