Remove the split from a window or unfreeze a pane

Applies to: Microsoft Office Excel 2003

To restore a window that has been split into two scrollable areas, double-click any part of the split bar that divides the panes (pane: A portion of the document window bounded by and separated from other portions by vertical or horizontal bars.).
To remove nonscrolling "frozen" panes, click Window, and then click Unfreeze Panes.
