Switch to full screen view

On the View menu, click Full Screen.

Switch back to normal view

On the Full Screen toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), click Close Full Screen.

Note If you've hidden the Full Screen toolbar, you can restore the toolbars and hidden elements by clicking Full Screen on the View menu.
