Change data markers in a line, xy (scatter), or radar chart
 
  1. Click the line with the data markers (data marker: A bar, area, dot, slice, or other symbol in a chart that represents a single data point or value that originates from a worksheet cell. Related data markers in a chart constitute a data series.) you want to change.
  2. On the Format menu, click Selected Data Series, and then click the Patterns tab.
  3. Under Marker, select the options you want.
