You can rename any custom toolbar that you have created; however, you cannot rename a built-in toolbar (built-in toolbar: A toolbar included with Microsoft Office programs; it is not created by the user.) that comes with Microsoft Office or Office family programs.

1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
2. Click the Toolbars tab.
3. In the Toolbars box, click the custom toolbar you want to rename.
4. Click Rename.
5. Type a new name in the Toolbar name box, and then press ENTER.
