Hide the blue border of a single-mapped cell or XML list

Note  XML features, except for saving files in the XML Spreadsheet format, are available only in Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and Microsoft Office Excel 2003.

By default, single-mapped cells and XML lists are displayed with a blue border to highlight them. You can choose to hide these borders.

  1. On the Data menu, point to XML, and then click XML Source.
  2. In the XML Source task pane, click Options.
  3. Select Hide Border of Inactive Lists.

Note  This setting affects all Excel lists, XML lists, and single-mapped cells in the workbook. You cannot hide the border of a specific single-mapped cell or XML list.
