If you want to leave a copy of a document on a Document Workspace site, but you no longer want to be prompted for updates, you can disconnect the document from the Document Workspace.
- Open your copy of the document.
- In the Shared Workspace task pane, click the title of the Document Workspace, and then click Disconnect from Workspace.
Your copy of the document is no longer associated with the Document Workspace, but the Document Workspace and its members are not affected.
- When you close the document, be sure to save it. That way, the document is permanently disconnected from its Document Workspace.
