The Office Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution helps you align people, investments, and work with business priorities; automate project management processes, manage portfolios, and create effective communication and collaboration across the organization; and manage work from ad-hoc projects to complex programs across the entire project lifecycle.

The EPM Solution is based on Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server 2007, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Windows Server. Users access EPM Solution functions through the desktop client Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007, the Web interfaces Microsoft Microsoft Office Project Web Access (which requires Client Access Licenses (CALs) to Project Server 2007) and Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Web Access (which requires CALs to Project Portfolio Server 2007), or through integration with other Microsoft Office system or line-of-business applications.
