Michele Shauf is a business consultant specializing in organizational change, strategic communications, and training.
Michele has a Ph.D. in semiotics, the science of signs and language. She was a professor of technical communication, information design, and multimedia at Georgia Institute of Technology before opening her
private consulting practice.
As a communications strategist, Michele has 14 years of experience in external and internal communications and expertise in audience analysis, rhetorical strategy, and change communications. She has extensive experience in translating for nonspecialists complex information in written and visual forms. In 2003, she received the APEX Award for Publication Excellence for her work on the Atlanta Housing Authority's corporate Web site. In 2003, she also received an award from the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for her work on the Atlanta Housing Authority's annual report.
