Demo: Easy ways to add more data to a chart

Office demoWatch the demoDemo icon

Changing a chart to reflect changes in the data is easy — it’s automatic. Just update the values in the worksheet cells, and those changes are instantly shown in the chart. You don’t have to do a thing. But let’s say that you decide to expand the range of data included in the chart — maybe you add some rows or columns in the worksheet. You don’t have to start over with a chart that you’ve gotten to look just the way you want it to. You can simply change the range of data included in the chart either by dragging the new rows or columns into the chart or by redefining the source data. Make it easy on yourself — keep your original chart!
