Animated icon You can also view an animated version of this procedure, Animation: Send to PowerPoint 2000 from PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2.

If you have PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 installed on your computer, you can send your presentation backgrounds directly from PhotoDraw to PowerPoint.

  1. Start PowerPoint 2000 and open the slide you want to enhance with a custom background.
  2. In PhotoDraw, open or create the background picture you want to save as a PowerPoint background.
  3. On the Save Send menu, click Send as Microsoft PowerPoint Background.
  4. Choose how you want to fill the background by doing one of the following:

To create a pattern of the picture, click Tile the picture across the background.

To spread the picture across the slide background, click Fill the background with the picture.

  5. Click Save.

Note  If you use an earlier version of PowerPoint, you will not be able to use the Save Send menu. Instead, export your picture with the Save for Use In Wizard (File menu). If you do not have PowerPoint installed on your computer, this command is not available in PhotoDraw.
