Do you work with Microsoft Excel 2000 workbooks in another version of Excel?

If so, you'll want to know whether your Excel version will let you view and work with the euro currency symbol. To get that information, type euro in the Office Assistant or on the Answer Wizard tab in the Excel 2000 Help window, click Search, and then click "About working with euro values and formulas in earlier versions of Microsoft Excel."

Do you save Excel 2000 workbooks in other file formats?

If you plan to convert Excel 2000 data that includes the euro symbol for use in another program, you'll want to know in advance whether the format you're converting to includes the symbol.
