ActiveX control required example

  • If so, follow the two steps below to install the "Office Update Installation Engine" ActiveX control from Microsoft.
  • If not, follow the directions on the Office Update ActiveX Control Failed to Load troubleshooting page.


To install the Office Update Installation Engine ActiveX control

  1. Right-click on the Info Bar and select Install ActiveX Control (shown below.)

  2. In the Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog, click the Install button.
