When OneNote opens, you can start taking notes right away on the page, the blank central area in OneNote. Just click and type, or write, or draw — it really is that simple. Like on a paper page, you can start anywhere on the blank page; but unlike with paper, you can later move the notes around if you need to. You'll find out how in a moment.
All notes are held in note containers, which are invisible boxes that appear only when you move the cursor close to them.
Click Play to see how to take notes, add a new page by clicking the New Page button above the page tabs, and enter a title to make the page easy to identify.
Note You can use handwriting recognition in OneNote if you have a Tablet PC. However, you can still use the ink tools with a mouse pointer on a normal computer.
