Share information by using the Web Page feature.
During the training, in addition to the documents, you may need to share some important Web sites where the attendees can find additional information, including examples and case studies. At the end of your orientation program, you can ask the new hires to look at your organization's Web site for all the policies and the related documents as a "call to action."
Using the Web Page feature of Live Meeting, you can share the URL of any Web site with the attendees. A Web Page is an excellent way to view additional training resources and to provide resources to resolve support issues. The Web Page feature puts a Web site in your Live Meeting and allows all of the attendees to navigate the Web site independently and privately. Each attendee is provided with an independent connection to the URL of the Web page, which allows the attendee to navigate the site freely.
To share a Web page, do the following:
- In the Content pane, click Share, and then click Web Page.
- In the New Web Page dialog box, type the URL of the Web page that you want to share with the attendees, and then click Verify Web Page. This enables you to check or preview the Web slides before they are created.
- If the preview displays the Web page that you want and the Web page passes the verification process, click Create Web Page.
