An important point to remember is that you have to break header and footer links separately. So if you want the same headers but different footers, you break the link on just the footer area. You'll try this in the practice session.
You can use the Show Previous and Show Next buttons to move swiftly between headers and footers in different sections of a document.
What about numbering?
In the Page Number Format dialog box, which is opened by clicking the Format Page Number button , you can specify to continue numbering from the previous section or start numbering again at a page number of your choice.
Make sure that you have the correct numbering option chosen for each section of your document. Although you would probably want the pages in an index numbered separately from the main text, in contrast, you would want the page numbers between chapters of a book to run consecutively. We'll do this in the practice.
