The PowerPoint window provides some shortcuts that ease the process of creating a show. While it's reassuring that you can go to the main menus or toolbars, you'll be glad to know split-second ways to insert a new slide, apply a slide layout, and perform other basic tasks.
In this lesson you'll use shortcut (or "context") menus, task panes, and key combinations to create a small show. If you're in the clicking habit, sometimes the thing to click is nearer than a toolbar button. And sometimes a keyboard shortcut is so much easier, you'll want to get into that habit instead.
