Drop-down menu with selections

Include an enhanced video experience by using Microsoft RoundTable in your Live Meeting.

If you have a group of attendees in a remote office location joining the new hire orientation session, you can use a RoundTable device to enhance the Live Meeting experience. RoundTable provides a 360-degree panoramic video with active speaker functionality and enhanced audio in conference rooms. Your webcam captures one video image at a time, whereas RoundTable displays a panoramic view of all the attendees located in a single conference room simultaneously and highlights the person speaking in the active speaker window.

To include video in your Live Meeting by using a RoundTable device, do the following:

  1. Connect your RoundTable device to your computer.

Note    If you are connecting a RoundTable device to your computer for the first time, please follow the instructions provided with the RoundTable device.

  1. To join a Live Meeting, in the Live Meeting invitation, click Join the meeting.
  2. To start the panoramic video, in the Voice & Video pane, click the Web camera drop-down menu, and then click Start My Video Panorama. This creates a panoramic view of all the attendees sitting in a conference room with the RoundTable.

Note    If the meeting uses RoundTable for panoramic video, click the Web camera drop-down menu in the Voice & Video pane, and then click Show Video Panorama. This displays a panoramic view of the meeting to all the meeting participants.
