How Visio links the rows to the shapes.
Next, tell Visio how to link each row to each shape. In the Automatic Link wizard, choose a data column on the left and then choose Shape Text on the right. In this example, if the data in a row's Network Name column is the same as the Shape Text (that is, the text you typed for the shape), Visio will link that row to that shape. And it will continue to do this automatically for every row as long as the Network Name and Shape Text match. No dragging!
