There are a number of ways to format controls. Except for purposes of illustration, it’s probably better not to use this many formats at once.
Would you like to make all the text blue? On a pale yellow background? Or put thick borders around your most important data, so that it's easy to see at once?
How about 3-D effects, like shadowing or raised edges?
To change the look of a control, you would select it in Design view, and choose from the buttons on the Formatting Form/Report toolbar. (If you don’t see the toolbar, use the Toolbars command on the View menu to make it visible.)
Once you liked a control’s format, you could make all newly added controls look the same if you wanted, with the Set Control Defaults command on the Format menu of a form or report.
Note If you preferred, you could specify the look of a control on its Format tab. You would select the control and click the Properties button
on the Form Design or Report Design toolbar.
